An additional £100 million for household energy efficiency

The Government has recently announced that an additional £100 million worth of funding is being made available for household energy efficiency measures, including a new phase of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund. This will allow householders to enjoy warmer homes and greater control of their energy bills.

The scheme is likely to open for applications before the end of November this year, as soon as we have further details and a confirmed launch date we will be in touch.

Energy and Climate Change Secretary Edward Davey said:

“More money means more people can live in warmer, greener homes sooner.

“Green Deal Home Improvement Fund vouchers went like hot cakes earlier in the year and now even more people can cut their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient.”
