Gas fire servicing is more important than you may think. Most homes own a gas fire but they do not realise the importance of getting them serviced regularly. As for any gas appliance, the safety procedures are exactly the same. Although, gas fires are easily forgotten about and no one thinks about making sure they are safe for their family home.
